How it works
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × weeks per year. At $30 an hour, 40 hours a week, 52 weeks: $30 × 2,080 hours = $62,400 a year. A quick rule of thumb: at full-time hours, your salary is roughly your hourly rate × 2,000 (so $25/hr ≈ $50k).

Remember salaried roles often include paid holidays and vacation — weeks you're paid without working. If the hourly job doesn't pay for time off, compare using fewer weeks here, or convert the salary the other way with the Salary to Hourly Calculator.
